Overview

Playa Grande estates boast 7 fully equipped vacation villas spread out over seven acres of land. Each villa is equipped with all the creature comforts of home comparable in luxury to a 4 star hotel. All units are located less than 100 metres from Playa Grande, one of the best beaches in the world (National Geographic Magazine). With over 3.5 km of long white sand beach it is the home to the last major nesting colony of the giant pacific leatherback turtle.

Climate

An eternal summer is the best way to illustrate the weather at Playa Grande. November through April is considered the high season, and May through October is considered the green season. Although there is more rainfall during the green season, normally, rainfall is concentrated towards late afternoons and early evenings. There are very few days throughout the year when it is raining at sunrise. Average daily highs range from 35-45 degrees Celsius. Evening lows range from 22-27 degrees Celsius. Costa Rica has the most consistent weather in the world, and is not subject to Hurricanes or extreme weather conditions.

Playa Grande Estates is only a 30 minute drive from Liberia International Airport (LIR). Daily direct flights are available throughout most major North American cities.

Transportation

Free shuttle service to and from Liberia International Airport is included in all vacation rentals. We also offer daily chauffeured mini bus service at a reasonable price.
